Stewart

Stewart continues to do well in Chile. He experienced his first round of transfers this month. He remains in Lagunillas however Elder Measom was transferred so Stewart has a new companion. His name is Elder Cordova and he is from El Salvador. Stewart was worried that they would not be able to communicate very well because Stewart is still learning Spanish and Elder Cordova allegedly didnt speak English. Well, Stewart acknowledged that his Spanish is better than he gives himself credit for and Elder Cordova speaks Englsih so they are getting along just fine.Stewart shows enthusiam in all that he does. He was excited to show off his first hair cut in chile! In addition to Spanish, he is learning a lot of new skillls that will assit him throughout his life. Patience, humility, cooking.....
The work continues to progress and many are being baptized. This is the 11 yr old daughter of an inactive man in the branch. Perhaps she can lead her dad back to activity.
The son of a woman Angela works with is serving in the same mission. He has been out a little longer than Stewart. So, while the moms talk about their sons at work, and the wonderful things they are doing half a world away, the sons apparently are gooffing off on P Day and going bowling! (Stewart sent this picture but did not identity who was who so we arent sure which one is Elder Huggins from Gilbert.)
And, since Stewart is serving in the Ancient Americas, in the land of the Book of Mormon, who else would you expect to uncover and actually locate the sword of Laban???
