Time flies...

Stewart is nearing three weeks in the MTC already and I cant keep up with him on this blog. He loves the MTC and from his letters it appears he has grown spiritually in leaps and bounds. He is learning Spanish and is very excited to get to Chile. Here is an excerpt from his latest e-mail:

Spanish is coming along real well... we arent using englsih a whole lot, and i know its only been 2 weeks, but i am starting to lose my english a little. I am speaking, thinking, writing in spanish and some of the words are the same, they are spelled kinda alike, but not exactly... anyway i think of a word in english and start to spell it in spanish....kinda fun, but maybe not for the people reading this. BUT, its great, i love it but cant wait to get to chile.


He also sent a couple of photos that he had taken and printed out.
He is doing well and we are very proud of him. He was called to be the District Leader while in the MTC and that has been a good experience for him.

But.....Stewart isnt the only person who has had some excitement lately. Mitchell and Taylor graduated from high school the day after Stewart entered the MTC. It was pouring down rain that night so instead of holding commencement on the football field, they broke the class in half and moved it in doors. A-K met in the Auditorium and K-Z met in the gym. It was a little different than usual but still very exciting. The best part was, because of the split, we only had to sit through half of a graduation.....
